(D)Evolution …

Coming soon … Skin & Bone

“Every year, on September the first, Mum and I stand outside the patio doors in the morning and look at the garden. One of us always says something along the lines of, ‘I can feel September in the air.’ … “September always feels more like a new beginning than New Year does…” – extract from The (D)Evolution of Us.

On Friday, September 2nd, 2022, the Glasshouse series wraps up with the release of Skin & Bone, and I move on to a new phase in my #writerslife.

I’m starting the celebrations for Skin & Bone’s release by making the ebook version of TDofU free to download at http://mybook.to/devolution this weekend (20 and 21 August). Then on launch day – 2 September – I’m holding a stall in Tiverton Pannier Market (#Tiverton being the place Eskwich is based on) where I’ll be doing live readings from Skin & Bone, and running two competitions: the first to win the series; the second to name a character in my #WIP. So if you’re in #Devon on launch day, come down and say hi! Skin & Bone will be available as an ebook on launch, with the paperback coming later in the year, so I’ll be giving away signed flyers.

The (D)Evolution of Us, Glasshouse, Underrated, and Skin & Bone are standalone stories, but if you really want to see what I did there, read them all!

And when the kids go back to school, I’ll be immersing myself in my new phase. September’s in the air…

Her third novel, Underrated, will be published by #darkstroke on Valentine's Day, 2022. She often thinks about that frog.
